Montgomery takes the big cheese prize at festival

Somerset farmer and cheesemaker Jamie Montgomery's extra mature cheddar was named Supreme Champion at last weekend's British Cheese Awards.

Annual show drew nearly 800 entries

The annual festival, which took place at Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire, attracted nearly 800 British cheese entries. There was also a prize for Baba Hine of the Corse Lawn House hotel in Gloucestershire for the Best British Cheeseboard.
