Nestlé Toque d'Or deadline extended

Due to the bad weather sweeping across the UK, the organisers of the Nestlé Toque d'Or have extended the closing date for entries for the 2009 competition.

College students now have until next Tuesday (10 February) to get their entries in for the UK's premier college competition.

Teams who win a place in next year's Toque d'Or grand final will have the benefit of being mentored by Michelin-starred chefs for the remainder of the competition, which has been running for 21 years.

Entries should be sent to: Nestlé Toque d'Or, room 1721, Nestlé Professional, St George House, Croydon, Surrey. CR9 1NR.

Caterer has also extended the deadline for its prestigious Cateys due to the weather.
