New head chef Ryan Perratt revamps Charlotte's Bistro menu
Ryan Perratt has joined Charlotte's Bistro in London's Chiswick as its new head chef, helping to redevelop the restaurant's menu.
The Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurant now runs an all-day offer, including the existing fixed-price weekday lunch menu and early diner option. There is also a new vegetarian main course choice, while starters, mains and desserts now have individual prices.
The current menu starters include roast celeriac soup; rainbow beets with Dorset blue cheese; and mussels with smoked bacon and cider.
Mains include fried sea bass with salsify; braised lamb shoulder with white beans; and spelt with glazed squash and sage.
The restaurant also offers free Wi-Fi, coffee and cocktails, as well as "gin school" evenings with a different gin producer every Monday.
Perratt was previously the head chef at the Peyton & Byrne-operated National Café, having started his career as sous chef for the National Dining Rooms. He also worked for a year at the Mitre in Holland Park, and also spent time at the Private Dining Club in Belgravia as part of his hospitality degree course at Birmingham University.
Charlotte's Bistro is the sister restaurant to two AA-Rosette Ealing site, Charlotte's Place.
