One Devonshire Gardens is sold to time-share company

Glasgow hotel One Devonshire Gardens has been sold for £3m to Residence International, a Scottish company that already has luxury time-share apartments in Edinburgh and Paris.

One Devonshire Gardens was founded by hotelier Ken McCulloch, although the majority shareholders at the time of the sale were investment company 3i and the Scottish American investment company. The hotel's restaurant is the only one with a Michelin star in Glasgow.

Residence International has said it will upgrade the rooms at One Devonshire Gardens. The day-to-day operation of the hotel and restaurant will be unaffected by the change in ownership, and staff numbers will remain the same.
