Orchid makes David Campbell head of operationss

Pub operator Orchid Group has appointed David Campbell as its new head of operations for its free house division.

Campbell, who takes on the new role in September, has worked in the hospitality trade since 1996, including stints with Greene King and the Barracuda Group.

Campbell commented: "I was attracted by the clear focus on people and this mirrors my own ethos that people are at the heart of every business. Investing in staff makes all the difference."

I'm very much looking forward to working with operations director Paul Cutsforth again as well as Orchid's chief executive, Rufus Hall - a very inspirational person to work for."

Campbell will start at Orchid from the beginning of September.

Chief executive Rufus Hall said: "We're delighted to welcome David Campbell into the Orchid Family. David brings with him a wealth of experience and joins us at a hugely exciting time."
