Outdoor drinking ban relaxed
Scarborough Council is to relax its ban on drinking alcohol outdoors for a trial period of six months. While the bylaw banning outdoor consumption of alcohol will remain in place, drinking at pavement tables outside cafés and bistros in the town during the summer will be allowed.
A review of the relaxation will take place in the autumn.
