MUSTAFA AHMED has left the Selfridge Thistle Hotel in London, where he was fine dining

restaurant manager, to take up the position of night manager at the Millennium Britannia Mayfair Hotel in London.

PETER MOORE has been appointed a member of the board of the English Tourism Council. As managing director of Center Parcs, he was also a member of the former English Tourist Board for three years.

JASON THORLEY has taken over as deputy general manager of Bournemouth's Royal Bath Hotel. He was deputy manager of the Grand Hotel in Jersey.

JOHN PLAYER has been appointed executive chef at the Almenara Hotel,Sotogrande,

Spain. He was opening consultant chef at the St Enodoc Hotel, Wadebridge, Cornwall.

ANNA WOOD has been promoted to director of sales at the Millennium Britannia Mayfair Hotel in London.

She was senior corporate sales manager.

GABRIELLE BANYATSI is the new head chef at the La Tasca Spanish tapas bar and restaurant on Bradshawgate in Bolton, Lancashire. She was a chef for Sutcliffe Catering at Elizabeth House in Bolton.

JON DOUBT has also joined La Tasca as deputy general manager of its restaurant on Deansgate, Manchester. He was food and beverage manager at the Cheshire Oaks Racquets health and leisure club in South Wirral, Cheshire.

JANE HOW, former director of sales at the Copthorne Tara hotel in Kensington, has

been made sales director of the Cliveden Group.

RACHAEL HILL has joined the Royal Crescent hotel in Bath as sales director. She was an area sales manager for Virgin Hotels.

ANDREA STOKES has been appointed senior events manager at the Churchill Inter-Continental London hotel. She was director of catering and conference services at the Hilton Mesa Pavilion, Arizona.

SARAH DUNNING has been made training officer for Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons and Le Petit Blanc restaurants. She was group trainer for Virgin Hotels in the UK.

DOUGLAS STANFIELD has been appointed general manager of the Windlestrae Hotel in Kinross, Kinross-shire. He was manager of the Station Hotel in Perth.
