Virgin's upmarket hospitality division, Limited Edition, has appointed Janet Hoolahan sales and marketing director. She previously worked with caterers Rhubarb Food Design. British Trust Hotels has appointed Andrew McKay general manager of the Dunollie Hotel, Broadford, Isle of Skye. He previously managed the group's Loirston Hotel in Ballater, Aberdeenshire.

Ian Hamilton has been appointed food and beverage manager of the De Vere Grand Hotel in Brighton. He was previously manager of the Old Parsonage Hotel, Oxford. ####

He was previously commercial director for the restaurants and accommodation division of Scottish & Newcastle Retail. Torren Lewis has been appointed head chef at the T bar and restaurant in Shoreditch, east London. He was previously head chef at the Light Bar, also in Shoreditch.
