Virgin's upmarket hospitality division, Limited Edition, has appointed Janet Hoolahan sales and marketing director. She previously worked with caterers Rhubarb Food Design. British Trust Hotels has appointed Andrew McKay general manager of the Dunollie Hotel, Broadford, Isle of Skye. He previously managed the group's Loirston Hotel in Ballater, Aberdeenshire.

Quintessential Hotels has appointed Paul Brewer director of human resources. He previously ran his own consultancy. Quintessential has also appointed Jo Austin director of national sales. She was previously regional director of sales with Le Meridien. ####

Ian Hamilton has been appointed food and beverage manager of the De Vere Grand Hotel in Brighton. He was previously manager of the Old Parsonage Hotel, Oxford. ####
