Perfect Pizza boss gets life for murdering his partner
ALI Shah, owner of the Perfect Pizza restaurant in London's Sydenham, was jailed for life last week when he was found guilty of murdering his business partner and dumping his burnt and dismembered body on waste ground in Bradford.
Shah had denied killing Rajminkat Patel at the restaurant on or before 27 October. Tomato purée had been smeared on the walls to try to hide the bloodstains before carrying the body to the victim's car in a wheelie bin.
An Old Bailey judge also found Shah and one of his 18-year-old twin cousins, Asghar Shah, guilty of attempting to pervert the course of justice. The other cousin, Akbar Shah, was cleared.
Mr Justice Blowfield imposed a four-year concurrent sentence on Ali Shah, commenting: "It was a terrible killing and revolting disposal of the body."
Asghar Shah was sentenced to 15 months at a young offenders' institution.
