Claimed as easy to use and quick to make Unifine Dohler‘s range of mixes for fruit flans, custard slices and other confectionery reflects the not-so-sweet British palate.
Available in ready to use 10kg bags, 350 to 400g of SuCrem Nova Plus powder is whisked with a litre of water for three to five minutes. 40g of Sucrea compound with the flavour of choice is then added to the mix to make a kilo of custard filling. The basic custard and enhanced mix can both be used to pipe into doughnuts, cakes and Danish pastries. As a flan filling bake at 200°C for about 20 minutes and top with canned or fresh fruit. A neutral glaze finishes the flan.
