A SEA change is coming on in Bournemouth, with a proposed "sea gardens" development of tented pavilions along a 11/4 mile beachfront site. Dorset design consultancy Cheshire Robbins has developed the concept, with each pavilion containing a trade centre, a themed garden, restaurant and retail areas devoted to a particular nationality or culture. The new plans also propose relocating Bournemouth College of Art and Design to the sea garden. Companies are being sought to develop the project. Contact John Endacott: 0425 279838.

BRIGHT new design ideas for Leicester's GradeII-listed Corn Exchange have been requested by Leicester City Council, which wants a more elegant use for the 140-year-old building than its former nightclub and pub. Plan layouts and comments to be submitted by 18 March.

TAYLOR Walker expects to open three further Café Toto outlets in London and the South-east, following a successful trial of a site on Baker Street.
