Prix pierre taittinger

Entries are invited from chefs aged 24-39 to compete for a chance to represent the UK in the Prix Pierre Taittinger, now in its 32nd year.

The winning chef will be chosen following a cook-off at London's Cordon Bleu cookery school on 14 October and will go on to compete against chefs from seven other countries at the international final to be held in Paris on 18 November.

Last year's UK representative, Emmanuel Renaut, who was then at Claridge's but has since returned to France to open his own restaurant, went on to take third place in the final.

The overall winner receives a week-long trip to the USA including visits to restaurants and hotels on the East Coast. For further details and an entry form, telephone Justin Llewelyn on 07775 625158.
