Whether building customer loyalty, adding value or boosting sales during quiet periods, Nescafé has produced a range of powerful promotional kits to suit every outlet.

According to NFO brand tracker, May 2002, Nescafé is the UK's favourite coffee brand and has just announced the launch of a new range of Meal Deal promotions to help caterers drive sales.

Company research reveals that seven out of 10 people buy coffee with food - so it makes sense to maximise the sales opportunity further by driving high-profit margin coffee sales through tactical meal deals.

Nescafé research also reveals that 55% of people only decide what beverage to buy when they reach the counter. This means that enticing point of sale kits can help caterers to sell up their food and drink offering.

Nescafé Out of Home communications manager, Donna Plumb says: "To help maximise your morning, mid-morning, lunchtime or afternoon coffee sales, the company has identified a number of meal complements to coffee at anytime of day. It could be a bacon buttie for breakfast or a muffin in the afternoon. Nescafé price deals are designed to boost sales when you need them most."

Each kit contains two A3 high visibility posters, designed to encourage customers to reach for food at the same time as their coffee, as well as two stacker cards which can be placed near the point of purchase. The kits are available free.

  • ‘Bacon Buttie Meal Deal'

  • ‘Danish Fixed Price Deal'

  • ‘Muffin Fixed Price Deal'
