Property agent Knight Frank snaps up rival director

Property consultancy Knight Frank has poached a leading director from arch-rival Christie & Co to head up its expansion plans in Glasgow.

David Reid, formerly a director at Christie's in the city, is currently on gardening leave but is set to become an integral part of Knight Frank's Scottish expansion drive into the hotel and pub sector.

He will join the firm at an, as yet, unspecified date this year.

Reid has previously handled some of the biggest deals north of the border, including One Devonshire Gardens and Bewleys in Glasgow.
