Radio's Chris Evans buys third pub

Radio DJ and TV presenter Chris Evans has bought his third pub.

Evans has picked up the 2-AA rosette awarded Newbridge Inn in the village of Tredunncock in the Vale of Usk, Monmouthshire.

Property agents Christie & Co handled the off-market deal for owners David and Annie Davies.

Although a sale price was not disclosed Christie's had been seeking £950,000 for the freehold interest in the property.

Evans also owns two pubs in Surrey, the Mulberry Tree in Chiddingfold and the Red Lion in Milford.
