Ramsay eyes Las Vegas
Gordon Ramsay has set his sights on Las Vegas for a new restaurant concept, according to the Scottish national press. The three-Michelin-starred chef, who closed his Glasgow outpost earlier this year, has just returned from a trip to the Nevada resort.
In an interview with the Scotsman, Ramsay said he hoped to open a new restaurant "in the centre of the city" by May 2005. The article also claimed he was planning to open another London restaurant, in Mayfair.
Speaking to Caterer earlier this year, Ramsay said he was planning to open a London restaurant with Dubai Hilton executive chef Jason Atherton at the helm in November.
A spokeswoman for Ramsay declined to comment on the stories.
