The Wonder Pizza vending system demonstrated by Vending Associates enables a 9-inch pizza to be selected, baked and dispensed in less than two minutes. Designed for siting in high traffic locations such as universities, hospitals, transport terminals, etc, the 1850mm high by 1900mm wide machine incorporates refrigerated (0-4°C) storage of up to 102 pizzas and a quick heat-up electric oven capable of operating at temperatures of 280-300°C.
The pizzas supplied as part of the system are made in five popular Italian varieties using handmade dough and are partially pre-cooked prior to chilling. Special formulation and packaging achieves a shelf life, chilled, of up to 34 days. Machines cost around £14,000.
