The big story with Blodgett pizza ovens is the internal redesign of the SG3240 conveyor oven, making it much easier to disassemble and clean.

The whole side of the oven chamber drops down to facilitate pull-out of the lower air impingement chambers and the top baffle plate, which together produce a curtain of hot-air along the full length of the cooking chamber.

The changes are claimed to bring total cleaning time down from two hours to under 30 minutes.

The redesigned ovens also have "Smart Generation" controls with self-diagnostics and constant monitoring of all operating systems and a full text LCD display.

Other improvements include a self-calibrating conveyor motor and an increased four inch product clearance to facilitate menu expansion. A twin belt system is optionally available.
