Renaissance Pubs to open sixth site
Renaissance Pubs is set to open its sixth pub, in West Dulwich.
The new site is to be called the Rosendale and will open next month, following a refurbishment along similar lines to the firm's other pubs. The refurbishment of the new site is a collaboration between Tom Peake of Renaissance Pubs and Concorde BGW
The Victorian coaching inn features a 65-cover dining room, a 50-cover main bar and gardens that can hold a further 300 covers. The first floor houses two private dining rooms: the West Room seats 100 and can host up to 160 for receptions, while the smaller East Room has 25 covers seated and caters for 40 standing.
Loris Dario, former head chef at Renaissance's Tommyfield pub, under the direction of executive chef Massimo Tebaldi, has created in a seasonal and predominately British pub menu.
Renaissance currently has five pubs in south-west London: the Abbeville, the Avalon, the Bolingbroke, the Stonhouse and the Tommyfield.
The company was founded by Nick Fox, Tom Peake and Mark Reynolds. Look out for an interview with co-founder Mark Reynolds in Caterer and Hotelkeeper on 9 September.
