Restaurant manager death accidental

A verdict of accidental death has been recorded following the death of a deputy manager of an Italian restaurant in Bath earlier this year.
The body of Gianfranco Giannetto was found on a patio four floors below the room he lived in above Il Bottelino's restaurant.
An inquest was told that Giannetto was a reformed heavy drinker, but a post mortem showed that his blood contained almost double the legal limit of alcohol for driving.
Police found pieces of masonry near his body and a parapet outside the window of the room above was broken, indicating Giannetto had fallen as it had given way.
