Revpar drops by nearly 18% at London hotels

London hotels saw revenue per available room (revpar) tumble by 17.61% in the week ending 30 March, according to figures from hotel benchmarking service The Bench.

Revpar fell to £86.24, down from £104.67 during the equivalent week of 2007.

Occupancy fell by 9.19 percentage points to 71.56% while average room rate declined by 7.03% to £120.51 compared with £129.62 in the corresponding week of 2007.
