RoadChef picks Grant

RoadChef, the motorway service area chain, has appointed Martin Grant as its new chief executive to replace current boss John Greenwood.

Grant, who was the former chief executive of Inn Partnerships, will succeed Greenwood when his contract expires at the end of September. A spokesman for RoadChef said that Greenwood had chosen to leave the company, which he had served for four years.

"He has made it clear that he wants to go, and it is an opportune time for somebody else to take over the helm. It was an entirely amicable decision. He has really turned the business around since he has been here."
