Scvottish hotel awards

St Andrews Bay Golf Resort and Spa (above) has been named Scottish Hotel of the Year in Scotland's largest hospitality and hotel awards. McMillan Hotels was named Scottish Hotel Group of the Year, and Scottish Hotelier went jointly to Marie McLaughlin of Ballachulish in the Highlands and Peter Taylor of Town House Hotels in Edinburgh. Scottish Hotel Manager of the Year was Lizzy Kelk of the Malmaison hotel, Edinburgh. The awards, held at the Balmoral hotel in Edinburgh last weekend, were organised by HotelReviewScotland.com. More than 11,000 public votes were cast online before experts from the Scottish hospitality industry gave their verdict.
