Shelley Sandzer appoints new head of pubs

Leisure property consultancy Shelley Sandzer has appointed Richard Thomas as its new head of pubs.

Shelley Sandzer director Duncan Lillie said: "What Richard doesn't know about the pub market isn't worth knowing! He has advised many of the major national licensed operators, including Mitchells & Butlers, Marston's, Whitbread, JD Wetherspoon and Enterprises Inns, and has provided valuation advice to all the big banks.

"Richard adds another dimension to our professional team. He brings a wealth of experience and contacts in a sector where we want to grow."

Thomas previously worked for Colliers International and BNP Paribas.
