SIBA appoints vice chairman
The Society of Independent Brewers (SIBA) has appointed Nigel Sadler as its vice-chairman.
Sadler is operations and commercial manager at Wibblers Brewery based in Mayland, Essex. He also owns and runs Learn2brew, a craft brewing school.
He has been a SIBA trustee, representing the organisation's East region, since 2010 and was elected as vice-chairman at the most recent SIBA Council, held in February this year.
Chairman Keith Bott said: "Nigel has been an enthusiastic trustee with an evident and engaging passion for beer and brewing. I am delighted to have him working alongside me as vice-chairman and am confident that it will enable us to raise further SIBA's profile and ensure that the voice of the craft brewing sector is heard loud and clear by Government and other policymakers."
The vice-chairman position was vacant until Sadler's appointment, though it has been filled at other points in SIBA's 32-year history.
