Simon Gaske becomes Barracuda's first digital marketing manager

Pub and bar operator Barracuda Group has appointed Simon Gaske in the newly-created position of digital marketing manager. Gaske will work on the firm's online offering, focusing on pre-booked party sales and maximising the use of social media to engage with customers outside of the pub.

Matt Nowell has also recently joined the operations team at Barracuda Group in the role of area manager for the North West. He joins from Punch and has previously worked for other retailers including Gadgetshop and Phones 4u and will oversee 14 Smith & Jones branded pubs.
