Singapore Food Festival spreads beyond London

FANS of Asian food will be in their element this month as the third Singapore Food Festival gets under way. Participating restaurants in London include Imperial City, Mezzonine, Soho Spice, the Pacific Oriental and Moorgate Oriental brasseries, and Wok Wok. Festival menus feature Chinese, Malay, Indian, Indonesian and Nonya (Singaporean) cuisine.

The festival spreads beyond London for the first time this year, with branches of Wok Wok in Manchester, Nottingham and Marlow also offering special dishes.

Guests at the Singapura Group's City restaurants, Suan Neo and Singapura, will be challenged to identify an ingredient in a particular dish to win a free meal. Dishes will be prepared under the guidance of executive chef Maureen Suan Neo.

A Gourmet Safari, in which customers eat in four restaurants in one evening, is also being organised. For details call 0171-287 1694.
