Sodexo wins £40m NHS contract extension

Sodexo has won a £40m contract extension with Northern Devon Healthcare NHS Trust.
The new seven-year foodservice deal sees Sodexo add a new soft facilities management helpdesk to its responsibilities with the Trust.
It will also renovate the restaurant and café at the main site, install a new Costa Express coffee unit and the refurbish the hospital shop.
Simon Scrivens, managing director for Sodexo's healthcare business said: "We have pulled on the resource from around our business to provide the best solutions to drive efficiencies and improve performance at the hospital."
Sodexo has held the contract for the last 15 years and employs around 300 people at the Devon site.
