Streamlined portable induction

Streamlined portable induction

The CS3000T, a new single ring portable induction hob from specialist UK manufacturer Induced Energy, has distinctive slimline styling with the streamlined front display case available as standard in a choice of silver, charcoal or burgundy (or bespoke colours if appropriate quantities are ordered). Colours are bonded to the metal using an electrophoretic process.

Mindful of the growing use of hobs for front of house display cooking, the new unit has an illuminated rear panel (ie the part which faces customers) to enable logos or other information to be highlighted.

Other features of note include a high (30mm) depth of field, relating to the invisible cooking zone projected above the hob surface in which a pan will heat up, allowing it to be moved as if cooking over a gas flame. The new hob is rated at 3kW (13-amp plug operation) and priced at £895.
