Strong average room rate growth in Manchester and London

Manchester and London were amongst five European cities which achieved double-digit gains in average daily room rate (ADR) during February, according to the latest statistics from STR Global.

While Copenhagen produced the strongest increase in ADR last month with a year-on-year improvement of 15.7% to £94.08, Manchester and London achieved rises of 13.2% to £66.90 and 10.2% to £128.40 respectively.

Largest decrease in ADR occurred in Moscow, which recorded a 20.4% fall to £106.84.

Overall during Febraury, the UK achieved an occupancy rate of 72.3% (up 4.3%), ADR of £76.70 (up 4.9%) and revenue per available room of £55.42 (up 9.5%).
