Tattershall Castle Group chief executive quits

Peter Brook, chief executive of pub operator Tattershall Castle Group (TCG), has quit his post less than a year after leading a £177m buyout from Spirit Group.

David Ford, former chief executive of Sodexho UK and serviced-office company Regus UK, has been appointed as the new chief executive.

The group, which acquired 178 properties from Spirit in September 2005, manages brands including Henry's Bar and Café, Bar 38 and Rat & Parrot.

TCG, which is backed by private equity group Alchemy Partners, has previously announced an £8m investment programme over the next five years.
