The White Brasserie Company to open tenth pub

The White Brasserie Company will open its 10th pub, the Victoria in Oxshott, this month as it works towards a the roll out of 20 pubs over the next three years.

The pub will offer a seasonal menu with a French twist along with its own Blanc de Blancs sparkling wine and local guest beers.

Having been restored with new bay windows and fireplaces, the bar will seat 32, alongside a 64-cover brasserie featuring dishes such slow-cooked boeuf bourguignon with creamy mashed potatoes; seared Cornish king scallops; and pan-fried chickpea and coriander cakes. Half portions of many of the a la carte dishes are available for children.

It's wine list will include a selection from Chapel Down, while guest beers such as Sheer Drop from Surrey Hills Brewery and Hophead from Dark Star will also be served.

Brasserie Bar Co chief executive Mark Derry said: "We are delighted to have added the asset of The Victoria to our portfolio of pubs, extending our list of properties in Surrey to five. The Victoria is an established institution at the heart of The Oxshott community, and we look forward to welcoming guests to enjoy quality food and drink in a relaxing and welcoming environment."
