Top hoteliers join forces to launch green magazine
Bosses from some of the world's leading hotel groups, including Forte, Inter-Continental and Holiday Inn, have united behind a new publishing venture that is aimed at developing sustainable tourism into the next millennium.
The International Hotels Environment Initiative (IHEI) yesterday launched Green Hotelier, a quarterly magazine designed to give hoteliers around the world access to the latest environmental information and trends.
The launch issue, for example, covers topics such as the global water shortage and how hotels can better manage usage.
Articles are written by industry decision-makers, environmentalists and businesspeople.
Green Hotelier is available on subscription at a cost of£25 a year from the IHEI on 01296 89550.
