Westminster hotel sold again

The St Ermin's Hotel in Westminster, London is about to be bought by Italian chain Jolly Hotels for £57m. The 290-bedroom site is currently owned by US company Strategic Hotel Capital who bought it from Stakis in 1998. This is the first venture into the UK market by Jolly Hotels. Jones Lang LaSalle was the agent.

Sold…at last

The Nant yr Country hotel in Anglesey has been sold for almost £255,000. The 14-bedroom site has been in owner Nikki Roberts's family since the early 1900's, but she is moving to Australia to join family members there. New owners are Wendy and Andrew Chape and Robert Barry & Co was the agent.

Buyer swoops on Peregrine

Peregrine Hall in Lostwithiel, Cornwall has been sold for close to £600,000. The holiday village consists of eight holiday cottages, ten acres of land and a five-bedroom owner's residence, as well as swimming pool and gym. Miller Commercial was the agent.

Pebble dash

First-timer Avril Smith has bought the leasehold on the Pebbles Country Inn in Happisborough, Norfolk for close to £55,000. The pub has a full restaurant, four letting rooms and an owners flat. Smith signed a new 12-year lease while owner Joanne Viner retains the freehold. Christie & Co was the agent.

Ebford House sold

The Ebford Country House Hotel in Exeter has been sold for close to £625,000. The hotel has 16 bedrooms, a 50 cover hotel restaurant and a separate 50 cover bistro called Friscos. Previous owners Don and Sam Horton are retiring and the purchasers is Alan Riley. Robert Barry & Co was the agent.
