Walkabout plans hotel for Bristol

Australian-themed bar group Walkabout is to open a second hotel before the end of the year.

The property, named Hotel@Walkabout, will be in Bristol and will have 25 bedrooms. It opens in December in a building behind the city's Walkabout bar.

A Walkabout spokesman said: "Bristol is a very vibrant city and we believe the hotel will cater both for business and tourism."

Walkabout, owned by parent company Regent Inns, opened its first Hotel@Walkabout in Newport, Gwent, in June. It has 29 bedrooms.
