William Curley to launch third London chocolate shop

Former Acorn Award winner William Curley is to launch his third London chocolate and patisserie shop with the opening of a new outlet at Shepherd's Market in Mayfair.

The new shop, which opens next week, will feature dedicated chocolate, patisserie and baked counters, as well as a dessert bar area where dishes will be made to order.

Made by resident patissier Sarah Frankland, desserts will include Amedei Chuao chocolate tart with compote raspberries and Kyoto green tea ice-cream; Baba Au Rhum with caramelised pineapple and glace beurre du Paris.

The shop will also offer a select Japanese range including Matcha cakes, miso and walnut biscuits and Yuzu fruit financiers.

The shop at Shepherd's Market is William Curley's third outlet after its flagship store in Richmond and an outlet at John Lewis on Oxford Street which opened earlier this month.

Earlier this year William Curley took over one of London's best known retailers The Chocolate Society's two shops in Mayfair and Belgravia.
