Forte in Israel

Forte has signed franchise deals to manage two hotels being built in Israel - Le Meridien Tel Aviv and Le Meridien Eilat.

Tourist figures

The number of tourists visiting Europe has grown by almost half (45%) during the past five years, research body Euromonitor reports. Four in five of Europe's 277 billion holidaymakers (1996 data) live in another European country, the figures show.
