Hotelympia review


The recently launched range of Kaleidoscope service plates (right) will be the centrepiece of the Dudsons stand. Featuring strong colours which make up a geometrical pattern, the design is applied to Dudson Finest Vitrified underneath a hard glaze that protects it in the microwave and dishwasher.

Snap-Drape will be exhibiting a new range of conference cloth and conference cloth drop covers in addition to its skirting for restaurant tables and bespoke table and stage skirting. A selection of vinyls and wipe-clean table covers in a variety of colours and designs from Pro-Host will also be on display.

Catering disposables manufacturer Plastico will for the first time be showing its colour co-ordinated tableware – the EdgeGlo collection (below). It features tumblers, cutlery, straws, cocktail stirrers and trays in vibrant colours that glow around the edges. The EdgeGlo range will be featured alongside Plastico’s main portfolio.

Villeroy & Boch

The French Garden Hotel range of tableware will be launched at the Villeroy & Boch stand. Featuring three co-ordinating ranges – “Dampierre”, “Choisy” and “Maintenon” – the range includes mix-and-match patterns of ripe fruits and warm country colours. It has been manufactured to withstand the rigours of the catering trade.

Churchill Hotelware

Mix and match is the main theme of the Accents range, to be launched by Churchill Hotelware. It is made up of 13 individual items, including pasta plates, service plates, footed mugs and espresso cups. The three designs from Accents will be Salsa, Navaho and Sea ‘n’ Sand. The range can be combined effectively with whiteware. Also being shown is the award-winning Chateau Collection of tableware made on the Kerafine body.

Andy Thornton

Supplier of interior fixtures Andy Thornton Architectural Antiques will be promoting for the first time the “Java” and “Burma” collections of bamboo and wrought-iron furniture, along with the “East India” rattan and bamboo range. On the lighting side the company will present the solid bronze Dordogne range, and the Prague floral collection.

Duni Banquet Line (below), launched last September, will be the main exhibit on the Duni stand. The range of white disposable tableware can be used as a complement or alternative to traditional linen and is available in two designs: the classic textured appearance of “Caesar” and romantic style of “Diana”. Napkins are available in 48cm x 48cm, slipcovers in 84cm x 84cm, table covers in 125cm x 180cm and banqueting rolls in 125cm x 20m.

Enfield Polymers

Enfield Polymers, supplier of table coverings and soft coverings, is launching a number of tablecloths and shower curtains. Delfin (below) is a range of wipe-clean tablecloths featuring 31 plain and patterned designs. The cloths are made from screen-printed cotton and coated in heavy-duty vinyl. Satin Strip will be joining the shower curtain lines. Made in 100% polyester, the range is algae-resistant and comes in either white or ecru.
