The couple, who have a number of business interests in the area, bought the popular inn and restaurant for £525,000. Previous owners, Graham and Norma Davies and Helen Biggins purchased the property as a pre-retirement venture in 2001 and had invested heavily in improving the facilities, which include a total dining capacity of 52 seats, a spacious bar and owner accommodation, comprising lounge, dining-room and two single bedrooms. The agent was Colliers Robert Barry.
