TRG opens up at Luton Airport

TRG Concessions, part of The Restaurant Group (TRG), has this month opened three new catering units in the revamped London Luton Airport.

Est…, an Italian restaurant, Est Bar and a juice-and-bagels store will offer a range of food and beverages including freshly made pizzas and pasta, Italian coffee and cocktails.

The £35m development of the airport's passenger facilities includes a 7,400sq m departure lounge and a retail and catering lounge. One other new unit will operate under the Real Food Company brand, run by Compass division Select Service Partner.

Paul Kehoe, managing director of the airport, said: "The grab-and-go snacks will ideally complement the expectations of our passengers."

TRG Concessions generated 19.1% of the company's overall turnover during 2004. The group has more than 250 outlets in the UK, including Garfunkel's, Caffè Uno and Frankie & Benny's.
