Papa Johns seeks property and franchise director

Pizza delivery franchise Papa Johns is looking to appoint a director of property and franchising in the UK to spearhead plans to treble its number of outlets in the next 10 years.

Papa Johns laid out plans in March to crack the hegemony of Domino's and Pizza Hut in the UK and continues to look for quality franchisees adept at running multiple sites.

Papa Johns UK managing director Ian Saunders, said: "For those plans to be successful a number of key objectives need to be met, including the acquisition of over 215 new sites and the recruitment of a number of new multi-unit franchise partners.

"The director of property and franchising will play a huge part in this, so the position is vital.

Papa Johns began in the USA in 1984 and currently operates more than 3,000 outlets in 29 countries around the world.

It entered the UK market in 2000 where it currently has 87 units.
