Switch your illegal fire door wedges with Fireco

Nearly 70% of premises audited for fire risk earlier this year were found to be illegally using wedges to keep their fire doors open, according to a survey commissioned by Fireco, supplier of the wireless Dorgard fire-door solution.

The group has declared war on illegal fire-door wedges, which can lead to deaths in a blaze, by launching its Wedge Pledge.
Simply send Fireco your illegal wedges and you will be rewarded with a £5 discount on the price of any Dorgard units you buy. Fireco will also donate œ1 to burns charities for each unit sold in the campaign.

The Dorgard system – which complies with all relevant British standards, EC directives and UK fire regulations – will hold fire doors open safely in any position and automatically release them if the fire alarm sounds.
