New leaseholders for Kingsbridge pub

Matthew and Laura Croxford are the new leaseholders on the Seven Stars, a large town-centre pub in the heart of the affluent Devon town of Kingsbridge in the South Hams area.

Laura, who has worked in a number of gastro pubs and run an Egon Ronay accredited establishment, plans to develop the pub's good reputation for food and promote its function trade.

The pub's £494,962 annual sales are currently split 60/40 in favour of wet sales.

The business offers a 60-seat main bar, a 36-seat conservatory, a 60-seat function room, three-bedroom owners' accommodation, outside trade areas and parking for 15 cars.

Stonesmith of Exeter sold the Punch leasehold off a guide price of £90,000 on behalf of Sarah Blackburn. Annual rent is £52,000.
