Brighton's Bar Coco sold to new Oriental operator Days

Bar Coco in Brighton's former Picture House cinema complex is to be converted into a new Oriental buffet concept, Days, by its new owners.

The 10,000 sq ft site, which has the space to seat between 250 and 300 diners, is one of six units within the 67,000 sq ft leisure centre on the Brighton seafront in East Street.

The centre, a former cinema, has been developed by Falconland into a venue housing a casino, nightclubs, bars and restaurants.

The former Bar Coco nightclub will reopen as an Oriental restaurant in May after a £1m refurbishment.

The leasehold, which has an annual rent of £135,000, was sold through property agent Davis Coffer Lyons. No premium was paid.
