The opening brings together Gary and Kathy Jordan, owners of the award-winning Jordan Wine Estate, with former South African Chef of the Year George Jardine, whose eponymous restaurant in Cape Town was recently listed in the San Pellegrino World’s 100 Best Restaurants for the second year in a row. Jardine uses a wood-fired oven and custom-built chargrill as the centrepiece of the kitchen.
