Stoke Park Hotel, Spa and Country Club Resort in Stoke Poges, Buckinghamshire, has been awarded five AA stars.

Hotel director Giammario Ragnoli said that his main objective on joining the hotel in February 2009 from the Baglioni hotel, London, had been to gain five stars.

“I am very pleased to achieve this together with our team and now we want to build on this and take Stoke Park to the next level of excellence to continuously enhance the customer experience,” he said.

Founded in 1908, the hotel was extended in 2008, adding an additional 28 bedroom to make 49 bedrooms in total. It has a 27-hole championship golf course, 13 tennis courts and a £20m SPC SPA.
