Ex-Gordon Ramsay Holdings restaurant director Ben Crofton has joined Philip Howard's Michelin-starred the Square restaurant in London as general manager.
Crofton, previously at Gordon Ramsay, Los Angeles, has also worked as general manager of Thomas Keller's French Laundry restaurant in Napa Valley.
He moves to the two-Michelin star restaurant in Mayfair, which is co-owned by Nigel Platts-Martin, with experience at London department store Harrods and Raymond Blanc's Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons under his belt.
Crofton said: "I am very excited to join the Square. It's an iconic restaurant and truly one of the greats. I hope to be able to take it to the next level."
