A new restaurant and oyster bar is set to launch in Battersea, south London, next year, with the opening of Bennett Brasserie.
The all-day restaurant, which will open on Battersea Square in February, is the latest project by former Ronnie Scott’s operations director Ray Duhaney, who also developed the concepts for Cheyne Walk Brasserie and Bumpkin. It is backed by Freddie Achom, co-founder of Mayfair private members’ club Jalouse.
The 90-seat Bennett Oyster Bar, Brasserie and Wine Shop will be open from breakfast through to late night dinner, serving a menu of British and French brasserie dishes developed by executive chef Sebastian Ryder.
Interiors, designed by Shaun Clarkson ID, will include a central oyster bar as well as banquette seating and outside seating in the botanical garden. There will also be a shop selling wine and fresh produce as well as bread and cheese.
