Ramsay wins third Michelin star

Gordon Ramsay has won a third Michelin star for his eponymous London restaurant.


In the 2001 guide, which is published tomorrow, Eric Chavot also gains two-stars at London’s Capital Hotel.


John Burton-Race at the Landmark hotel in London wins two stars.


Two restaurants, Tamarind and Zaika, become Michelin’s first starred Indian restaurants.


Thornton’s restaurant in Dublin moves up from one to two stars.


New single stars include Ockenden Manor in Cuckfield, West Sussex, Rococo in King’s Lynn, Norfolk, and the Stagg Inn at Kington, Herefordshire.


The Oak Room Marco Piere White in London regains one star.
