Compass Group has announced the launch of Rapport, a new specialist provider of front- and back-of-house guest services.
The world's largest contract caterer said its new business division was developed in recognition of the growing demand for a tailored, premium service of this nature.
Rapport is aimed primarily at the business and industry sector - a dedicated team will work with the caterer's executive dining business, Restaurant Associates, as well its security business, VSG, which Compass acquired in 2010.
Greg Mace, managing director of Rapport, explained: "Our aim is to ensure we create a personal, intuitive service for our clients and their guests which anticipates needs, saves valuable time and makes guests feel welcome and relaxed.
"I'm really excited about the future of this business and the value it will bring to Compass's growing support services offering."
The company's fully managed offer will include reception, concierge, client meeting rooms, switchboard and other call services, with an ethos based on creating rapport with clients and their guests from the outset.
